CHIANGMAI FLOODS UPDATE
Taken between 13.30 hrs and 14.30 hrs on 30/09/2005
From what I saw early this afternoon, the current flooding is as bad as the first one, with some odd exceptions. Sandbagging has had a weird effect on certain areas, and left them completely dry, where as other areas have more water than before.
The first few shots were taken just round the corner from the NE corner of the city klong. All the others were taken from, and around the bridge on the Superhighway near Lotus and the Faham underpass.
A amusuing shot in pic #9 a sign in Thai saying "warning bridge height 2.4 mtrs" I don't think it applies today!
